Conclusion Day 1

Today I managed to get through one set of interview data for my participant named Timothy. While I'll need to continue to read and review his comments I have a good start at the very least on a descriptive profile of him that I'll use as a starting point for each of my participants in chapter 4. I'm wondering if the typical 5 chapter structure will make sense given I have 7 participants. I will continue to think about this as I grow the profiles of the participants. I'm really glad that I'm doing this camp. This structured time is important for me to meet my goal of completing sometime this summer.

Hi Everyone!

So a little late to this task, but was busy all weekend celebrating our youngest's high school graduation. Excited to meet and work with you all at Diss Camp. I'm in the final stages of diss writing and in desperate need of some real focus to get this done. I work full time as a clinical faculty member and director of the Baker Teacher Leader Center. My area is foreign language and ESL education. My dissertation focuses on how foreign language teachers create queer inclusive spaces in their teaching of foreign languages. My husband and I have three children and are looking forward to empty nesting...without a dissertation on my mind.
